About More Than Enough Integrative Therapy

More Than Enough Integrative Therapy was created from a simple belief: you are more than your symptoms, your past, your relationships, or the expectations placed on you.

Sometimes the ways we cope today began as ways of protecting ourselves in the past. Therapy can help you understand those patterns with compassion, build greater self-awareness, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Our Approach

Our work is integrative, trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive. We recognize that healing is personal, and there is no single approach that works for everyone.

Therapy may explore your experiences with:

  • Trauma and attachment

  • Relationships and boundaries

  • Identity and self-esteem

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Life transitions

  • Emotional patterns and self-trust

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at the bigger picture: Your relationships, culture, identity, history, and the experiences that have shaped you.

Why "More Than Enough"?

Many of us have learned to believe that we need to be more before we can feel ‘worthy’- more successful, confident, productive, lovable, or healed, but your worth doesn't have to be earned.

You are already more than enough.

Therapy is an opportunity to reconnect with that part of yourself while creating a life and relationships that feel more aligned with who you are.

Begin Where You Are

You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

You just need a place where you can show up honestly, feel understood, and begin.

Your story matters. Your healing matters. And you don't have to navigate it alone.

Yarisell’s Story

Founder and Trauma & Relationship Therapist in NYC

As an afro-latina, who grew up in Harlem, NYC, I have experienced the impacts of childhood, economic, and social adversities. It has caused rising cases of depression, anxiety, a deep sense of mistrust, and a fear that you cannot get to the other side of a negative space, relationship, or environment.

It became my passion to help others navigate through their struggles by helping them understand patterns in their past experiences and current relationships, while regarding cultural background, and apply change to establish hope and connection in their future.

I help people challenge the narrative of “Is there something wrong with me?” to “I had to survive this but I do not have to be a victim any longer!”.

How can I help?

Individual Therapy starts with a 60 minute intake: Together you and your therapist will explore what brings you to therapy, personal, medical, and family history, and will identify its affect on you. You will work along your therapist to identify goals to work on for your journey.
